Shawn Roop is a former Weapons Instructor for the United States Air Force. His military background has provided him with extensive hands-on expertise with surveillance technology and electronic components. It was during his tour of duty that Roop became acquainted with paranormal phenomena, while living in a circa 1700s house in England.

In 1998, Roop became the youngest investigator on the ISPR Team with primary responsibilities involving mobile instrumentation and data recording. In a short period of time, Roop's own Psi abilities, with a particular focus on clairsentience, became more enhanced and his impromptu demonstrations of those abilities, became increasingly more targeted and precise.

In March 1999, Roop participated in the ISPR field investigations featured in the two award winning documentaries, ISPR Investigates Ghosts of England (Telly Award - 1999) and ISPR Investigates Ghosts of Belgrave Hall (Best Horror Documentary Award - 2002 Screamfest L.A. Film Festival / Hollywood). Both documentaries are distributed around the world in several languages and are utilized as a teaching tool in universities like UCLA and USC.

Roop has joined Dr. Larry Montz for the filming of television pilots for E! Entertainment, Bravo and HAUNTED: Investigations Into The Paranormal, a syndicated series.

Roop's experiences within both the context of the ISPR and his own personal life, propelled him to further his education and knowledge in various areas of science, technology and esoteric studies. Today, Roop is an Intimacy and Life Coach. He is a Certified Tantric Therapist (C.T.T.) and provides TimeLine™ Therapy. He is both a student and teacher of Tantra and Huna. Merging sacred wisdom and teachings from the past with psychological advances of today, Roop is able to provide insight to those wishing to create a powerful and positive reality which supports both needs and desires.

Roop and his partner, Dr. Corynna Clarke, conduct workshops and seminars, worldwide. Both have been featured on a wide array of domestic network television and cable programming, print, and are sought after guests on radio stations throughout the United States and the United Kingdom.

Roop currently resides in Orange County, California.
