Ron Kilgore, a nationally known and acclaimed anchor,
is the Host of The Wall Street Journal This Morning Show on the new Wall
Street Journal Radio Network; a fast paced,
first look at the national and international stories that affect our lives.
A 30 plus year veteran broadcast journalist and former Washington D.C. correspondent
for NBC and the Mutual Broadcasting Network, Kilgore has covered the major
events that have shaped our world; from the great Cucumonga Flood of 1968,
to Presidents in the White House, to major trial coverage including O.J.
Simpson and the Menendez Brothers murder cases.
Prior
to joining Wall Street Journal Radio, Kilgore wrapped an eight year run
at KFWB News Radio in Los Angeles, including a multi year position as
Anchor for the KFWB-Los Angeles Times Noon Business Hour. During that
time, he won Golden Mike Awards from the Southern California Radio &
TV News Directors Association for Best Live Coverage, Best Spot News Coverage,
Best Economic News Report, and, Best Team Coverage.
After
numerous unexplained occurrences in both his professional and personal
life, Kilgore accepted a position on the ISPR Team in 1998, bringing with
him his extreme interest in exploring the unknown. He supports the team's
efforts with his technological expertise and investigative drive. He is
responsible for the technical operations of ISPR team audio, visual, thermal,
and infrared. Kilgore's natural intuition is a valuable asset in ISPR
field work.
In
March 1999, Kilgore provided the opening narrative for the ISPR field
investigations featured in the two award winning documentaries, ISPR Investigates
Ghosts of England (Telly Award - 1999) and ISPR Investigates Ghosts of
Belgrave Hall (Best Horror Documentary Award - 2002 Screamfest L.A. Film
Festival / Hollywood). Both documentaries are distributed around the world
in several languages and are utilized as a teaching tool in universities
like UCLA and USC. In August 2000, Kilgore was chosen to assist Dr. Larry
Montz in the arduous task of interviewing ISPR clairvoyant investigator
candidates. He has joined Dr. Montz in front of the cameras for a variety
of shows on such networks as the Discovery Channel and E! Entertainment,
and as far away as Cinematic Report on TV Tokyo, in addition to the pilot,
HAUNTED: Investigations Into The Paranormal, a syndicated series.
Ron
Kilgore's interests include photography, SCUBA and underwater archaeology.
