MM: How do you feel about skeptics?

Mackenzie: A little skepticism is normal, healthy and appropriate. However, to me, judgment is unacceptable. I encourage instead personal discernment as to what is right for that person and his or her life. Dedicated skeptics remind me of people who say "my way is the only right way." Their insistence on being right shows a small view of the world. It makes them feel safe but stops communication and awareness of new changes. This attitude usually relies on anger or blame to create a sense of their own independence. All it really does is cut off positive thought, sets limits to their life, denies possibilities, and stops the ability of choice.

MM: When did you know you had abilities and how did you know?

Mackenzie: I was eight years old when several paranormal things happened to me. I saw an angel by my bedside and after this incident I would hear her whisper things to me that would protect me from unsavory situations before they happened. I also saw and communicated with ghosts in this time frame and started having precognizant dreams. The most important thing in my development of my psychic abilities was my belief, trust and attachment to God. It became very strong, as it still is today.

MM: How do your abilities work?

Mackenzie: This is something hard to describe. I possess clairaudient abilities where I hear things, clairvoyant abilities where I can see into the future, psychokinesis abilities where I can touch things and know about their past and clairsentient abilities where I "feel" things. I prefer my clairsentient abilities over them all. The best way to describe this is in terms of energy. Everything possesses either electric or electromagnetic energy, even thought. My energy hops into a person and I feel their energy and the energy around them. I can even feel the energy of their situations or other people that occur in the past, present and future. I hop into these energies much like the wave of a cellular telephone. You can't see it but there is a connection and I do this in milliseconds. I feel these energies and obtain an impression or what I call "a knowing" and then I verbalize into words this knowing or feeling. However, each situation is different and when each of my abilities are needed to help in a particular situation they, all blend together to produce an effective result.

MM: How do you apply your abilities?

Mackenzie: To help and serve mankind. To provide light and relief into lives. To help heal people from physical and mental disease. To self-empower people for self-healing and to lead better, more loving and spiritual lives. To help people realize that we are not alone but have each other and a higher power that we can always rely on.

MM: What are your personal goals regarding paranormal research?

Mackenzie: To open up minds to the realms of infinite possibilities. To help provide scientific evidence that the paranormal is normal and help people discover and use their own abilities to eliminate fear and improve their lives.

MM: What do you think about other team member's abilities?

Mackenzie: Each of our unique team members have powerful abilities that are different from each other. Together, as a team, these plethora of abilities merge to become a powerful tool for research. Under the cohesive direction of Dr. Larry Montz, each team member is encouraged to use their abilities in their highest form as an adjunct to each other. When we get together it is a powerful, invigorating, fun experience. We can depend and rely upon each other to get the real facts from each situation. Each of us in the group has integrity and we always are of one purpose - to find the truth.

MM: What gives you the most satisfaction about the work you perform?

Mackenzie: Helping people.

MM: Are you ever afraid?

Mackenzie: Fear is an intricate part of the human existence. It is there to provide opportunity for growth and learning on our path in life. Am I ever afraid? You bet! Do I ever let fear take hold of me? Absolutely not! If you look at fear as your friend and not your foe, then acknowledge it and immediately face and take action, the fear is eliminated. By doing this you learn life's lessons faster, have less stress, spend less time in crisis, have more time to develop choices and can use the extra energy to enhance your life. It's interesting that fear and excitement produce similar physical reactions in your body. However fear depletes the immune system and provides negativity. Excitement boosts the immune system and provides positivity. I turn fear into excitement and an opportunity to learn something new. My body, mind and spirit just love positive things!

MM: What is your professional background?

Mackenzie: I was in telecommunications engineering for 18 years, owned one of the first used PC stores in America, and a data communications consulting company that serviced government and Fortune 1000 industries. I have been psychic since I was 8 years old and in the past 4 years have dedicated my life to Health & Awareness. I am currently President of Creative Health & Spirit, a world-wide vitamin, supplement and homeopathetic mail order
manufacturing and distribution company. I am in the process of getting my Ph.D. in Clinical Hypnotherapy and lecture throughout the United States at hospitals, private and government organizations, health expos and professional groups on self-healing and self-empowerment. I own a publishing company and have published 4 books and 17 audio tapes on self-healing and self-empowerment. For the past 4 years I have produced and hosted the Linda Mackenzie's Creative Health & Spirit Radio Show, broadcast Sundays, 8 - 9 a.m. PST on CRN (Cable Radio Network), PAX and the Internet (www.cableradionetwork.com) to educate people on health and awareness issues. I became a member of the ISPR in January of 1999 to help further research into paranormal phenomena.

MM: Are there any times or situations that you feel you could be in danger?

Mackenzie: I am aware of the dangers that are around me at all times. It's part of my sixth sense. Danger exists as negativity exists. It can happen in any situation. However my strong belief in God helps me to handle and face danger at all times.

MM: Name some examples of fraud that you've seen.

Mackenzie: It saddens me most when psychics use their ability to cash in on unsuspecting people who are coming to them for help. Psychic networks are a dilemma to me. I have found very good psychics and people who have no psychic abilities appearing on the same networks. Just because someone is psychic does not mean they can automatically counsel people. Psychics and spiritual healers that charge high prices and say you have to come back for many repeated visits, or make promises that they can cure all your problems should give you a warning signal that you should not trust them. There are so many scams out there that you must be aware of them at all times. Trust your gut feel and your own judgment. If it doesn't feel right to you just don't get involved.

MM: Do you feel that your teammates are ever in danger?

Mackenzie: I have felt each one of my teammates in danger at one time or another. I know that most times each one can handle the danger because they are powerful, however there is less danger when we are together because we automatically protect one another. We have a powerful team and I believe that when we are together we are hard to beat.

MM: Are there any aspects of the work you do that you feel or know poses health problems?

Mackenzie: When I do healing work there is always a potential of "picking up" the illness if I don't follow my own particular procedure. However since I do, I have rarely, if ever experienced health problems. The only health problem I see, at this time, that could occur is exhaustion and from expending too much energy in certain situations. By getting proper rest, keeping my body in top form and my mind alert even this potential health problem is eliminated.

MM: Do you read books regarding paranormal matters and if so, what kinds?

Mackenzie: When I was young I read every paranormal book I could get my hands on. Right now my time is so busy that I am really limited in my reading time so I only read about 6 books a month. The only book I constantly refer to is the Bible and usually the New Testament. However, I am lucky because since I have a guest author on my radio show every week I do receive all of the top books in the marketplace. The trick to finding the right book for you is to pick up any book you are attracted to. Don't rely on the book to give you all the answers, take what feels right to you in the book. Books are there to provide you thought processes, you must always find the answers that are right for you on your own. As an author I try to write the most complete book on the subject I am writing about to guide a person into making and using his or her own sense of discernment to stimulate their own thought processes to help themselves.

MM: What are some inaccuracies that have been printed or broadcasted about you?

Mackenzie: My name usually is spelled wrong. They spell it MacKenzie and not Mackenzie as it should be. You must remember that media seems to have it's own license. What you say may not come out right in the editing process. That's just part of the process it seems. I usually don't get upset about it because I realize that education is the key to stopping inaccuracy and sometimes that just comes with persistence and time.

MM: Should an investigator clear a property without consultation or permission?

Mackenzie: In most cases, when I am working alone I will clear a property. If I am part an ISPR team investigation, I always ask Dr. Montz first because we do scientific research that sometimes takes a period of time to study the phenomena. In these cases the greater good comes from observation and study rather than just random clearing. Dr. Montz is a caring man, as well as a top parapsychologist, and I have never seen him deny a clearing if it would benefit the spirit.

MM: Have you ever been injured due to the work you perform?

Mackenzie: No.

MM: Any details about your life that may have shaped your decision to do this kind of work?

Mackenzie: All my experiences and everything in my life has led me to what I am doing.

MM: How do you feel about people who make claims and/or copy you and why?

Mackenzie: I try not to get upset about these things. If people copy me it is the sincerest form of flattery. If they make false claims about what they can do it usually doesn't take long for someone to find out that they cannot do what they say. I am secure in who I am and the work that I am doing. The only thing I do in these cases is pray for them.
