VOGUE THEATRE HOLLYWOOD:
NEW LIFE IN HOLLYWOOD'S MOST HAUNTED

The Vogue Theatre, just two and half blocks east of Mann's Chinese, is now experiencing much more than just the haunting activities of its seven resident ghosts. A coalition has been formed to bring new life to the former 800 seat movie palace, guaranteed to attract both locals and tourists of all ages.

Work is already in full swing at the Vogue to offer a variety of attractions, all fundraising efforts to help restore the historic theatre, first opened in 1936. "The Vogue Theatre is virtually a chameleon-like entertainment venue; from classic movies and high profile filmfests to live entertainment, cappuccino and celebrities to learning firsthand what it's like to participate in paranormal field investigations", says Daena Smoller. "For immediate fundraising, you can look for a Bela Lugosi double feature, an ISPR Ghost Expedition, a Max Fisher Midnight Seance, a B Movie Film Fest, and Self-Help Classes, and that's just a few of the events on the agenda for March. And shortly, the mass following of Max Fisher's All Star Cafe', formerly located at the Knickerbocker Hotel, will rejoice when the famous Hollywood themed cafe' re-opens at the Vogue. And you can guarantee, in it's new location, the All Star Cafe' will be open every day.

Instrumental to the support and restoration of the property, is Bruce St. Martin's Vogue Theatre Actors' Co-op. Less than a month old, St. Martin's Vogue Theatre Actors' Co-op has already drawn the commitment of support from Hollywood's actors, directors, producers, comedians and technical experts. "The members of the Vogue Theatre Actors' Co-op look to the Vogue as their own new 'in' spot in Hollywood. Dedication to the space allows them to give greater dedication to their craft. It's a win-win situation for everyone involved", says the Co-op's director.

Dr. Larry Montz adds, "The attraction of the Vogue Theatre is now multi-leveled. The Vogue has been on numerous international programs, from the U.K. to Japan, as well as everything from Discovery to the Gossip Show on E! domestically; the world is fascinated with the theatre's hauntings. Now there's the additional draw of the famous All Star Cafe. And the Vogue Theatre Co-op provides ample opportunity for some celebrity spotting for tourists. The way things are headed, the theatre's only problem will be accommodating all interested events, but that's a problem we can deal with."
