Hawaii: ISPR's Shawn Roop with his partner, Dr. Corynna Clarke, has opened a new Tantric Retreat in Puna on the Big Island of Hawaii, called Akua Devi Puna Ashram or translated, 'Source of the Spring of Divine Goddess'. Akua is Hawaiian for Divine, Devi means "Goddess" in Hindu, Puna is "Spring" in Hawaiian and means "Source" in Sanskrit. The word Puram is Sanskrit for "Temple".
Roop and Clarke are sponsored across the states and internationally conducting a variety of seminars and sessions, but their favorite place to teach is their private, clothing optional retreat, located within two acres of completely private and lush landscape. In addition to healing and transforming experiences, as well as Beginner, Intermediate and Teacher Trainings that are available, there's challenging experiences available for Adventurers. Adventurers can swim with the dolphins in their natural habitat, visit close by natural rock steam caves, hike to the nude beach, take a short but magical journey to the hot pond or visit the sacred yoni cave just a few miles away. For time spent at the retreat, activities include a soak in the jacuzzi, detox in the sauna and coming soon, a natural lava rock pool.
