Washington D.C.:     After fourteen months of successfully launching and anchoring the nationally syndicated morning business program, The Wall Street Journal This Morning, Westwood One's NBC News Radio, has signed veteran broadcast journalist Ron Kilgore to its lineup of news personalities and as a regular guest host for Westwood One's morning news programs, America In The Morning and First Light.

In a recent article in Radio Ink, Bart Tessler, Westwood One Senior VP/Network News & Talk Programming, was quoted as saying, "Ron Kilgore is one of America's top radio correspondents, who has proven himself from coast to coast. His success in helping to launch and host The Wall Street Journal This Morning, brings talent and expertise that will enhance NBC News Radio and our morning programs." Kilgore has been quoted in various sources, "It's a journalistic delight to be joining NBC News Radio and guest hosting America In The Morning and also First Light - two giants in morning radio."

Managed by Infinity Broadcasting, Westwood One produces and distributes NBC News Radio and serves more than 7,700 radio stations.

Kilgore's more than 30 years of on-air experience also includes the position of anchor for KFWB in Los Angeles and the founding host and producer of the L.A. news radio giant's, Los Angeles Times Noon Business Hour.

Ron Kilgore, a member of the ISPR Investigative Team since 1998, has provided his narrative talents in the two award-winning 1999 documentaries, ISPR Investigates Ghosts of England and ISPR Investigates Ghosts of Belgrave Hall, and will be featured in the upcoming documentary, New Orleans Rich And Haunted, slated for international release fall 2004.
