ISPR.Net (Hauntings.Com) is the authorized website of the ISPRÒ Investigative Team and ISPR'sGhost ExpeditionsÒ.

Since it's founding in 1972 and under the direction of Parapsychologist Dr. Larry Montz, the ISPR has continually impacted the science of parapsychology and the field of paranormal research. Dismissing the mindset of scientific and academic circles and associations in the early 1970's, the ISPR was the first to take studies of Psi abilities (psychic abilities) out of a controlled environment and create varying levels of testing in the field, creating close to a proven 95% accuracy rate in field investigations (both paranormal and otherwise). This new extension of field research led the ISPR to create the first team concept, combining both scientific methodologies with various Psi abilities (clairvoyance, clairaudience, clairgustus, remote viewing, psychometry, energy manipulation, physical mediumship, empathy, etc.).

In the early 1990's, a six year ISPR Research Study of paranormal activities in the city of New Orleans and surrounding areas extending throughout the state of Louisiana, was undertaken. Under the name of Hauntings Today, another ISPR designed first was created, implemented and to date, has been extensively imitated worldwide, ISPR Ghost Expeditions. For the general public, Ghost Expeditions provided the first ever paranormal event in which a person could choose to participate by allowing participants to garner first hand experience in actual and documented paranormal field research pertaining to ghosts and hauntings inside actual haunted properties. For the ISPR, Ghost Expeditions allowed the achievement of two primary objectives never before attempted prior or since by any individual or organization:

1. a continuous long-term field study of multiple haunted locations
2. the study of Psi abilities of general public participants as involuntarily applied in the field without prior briefing to maintain, a non-controlled control

After concluding the ISPR six year research study in New Orleans, ISPR withdrew the citywide respected Ghost Expeditions from the French Quarter resulting in the immediate formation of over fifteen Big Easy ghost tours to fill the void, all enjoying the haunted status made known internationally through media attention bestowed on the ISPR.

In the late 1990's, the ISPR began offering a more sophisticated series of Ghost Expeditions in Los Angeles, utilizing the formerly haunted Vogue Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard, with the exception of promotional Ghost Expeditions implemented in various locations, each on a temporary basis. In December of 2001, the ISPR concluded its four year study of the actively haunted Vogue Theatre and the ISPR Team subsequently cleared the property of it's seven documented resident entities. The new documentary, Exorcism of Hollywood's Most Haunted: Vogue Theatre 1901 - 2001, is now in production.

Since 1997, ISPR's Ghost Expeditions (with destinations in New Orleans, Hollywood and England) are annual prize packages for network game shows like Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy! and Hollywood Squares.

ISPR and ISPR's Ghost Expeditions extensive international multi-media coverage between 1993 - 1995, is credited for the birth of literally hundreds of internet-based ghost clubs and amateur ghost hunts, worldwide. Ghost Expeditions, in addition to an extensive list of meetings between ISPR principals and the entertainment industry, have also been credited for spawning such television series as FEAR, World's Scariest Places and The Others.

ISPR documentaries, ISPR Investigates: Ghosts of England and ISPR Investigates: Ghosts of Belgrave Hall, can be found in many languages on internet sites everywhere and both have been used as teaching tools in many college level courses and lectures. The book, ISPR Investigates The Ghosts of New Orleans, available through ISPR.Net under Features, is the essential guide for visitors and locals in New Orleans as well as French Quarter ghost / vampire tour operators. And, although active in a variety of television programming and feature films currently, the ISPR Team remains dedicated to assisting those in need of professional services. Information on these services can be found inside ISPR.Net or by calling the main ISPR offices in Los Angeles at 323.644.8866.
